Process Modelling Training

Process modelling is an essential part of understanding the complexities inherent in any business. It is not enough to carry out each of the activities efficiently (although this is important) but it is also necessary to ensure that there is a complete and effective communication throughout the execution of such business processes, not just from a human point of view, but also between the processes themselves. This effective communication requires that each process is understood along with its relationship to other processes and that the complexity of the processes, both internally and between one another, is managed. All of these issues may be addressed by the effective use of process modelling.

However, process modelling is often over-simplified, producing a single view of the business consisting of flow charts that provide a basic representation of the processes. In most cases this single view is wholly inadequate. What is needed is a multiplicity of views that fully describe the structure and behaviour of the processes and the relationships between them.

Brass Bullet Ltd.’s process modelling courses cover all aspects of process modelling from analysis to documentation, applying visual modelling techniques to process modelling (using the Unified Modelling Language) and including examples of modelled processes such as standards, work instructions and general business procedures.
